Taiba Souk
The project renewed an existing 40-year-old souk while preserving its established commercial role and familiar urban character.
Collage and CDC carried the work from design through execution, coordinating architectural improvements and fit-out delivery.
A new shaded roof, lighting and storefront treatment improve comfort, legibility and the everyday shopping experience.
The intervention extends the useful life of the property and strengthens its commercial relevance without erasing its identity.
Taiba Souk is a design-and-build transformation of an existing 40-year-old market in Taif. Collage and CDC renewed the circulation, shading, lighting and retail environment to improve comfort and commercial performance while retaining the souk’s established role in the city. It is a direct expression of Collage’s Value Addition Practice: revealing what an existing place can become.
